I got an early Christmas gift in the mail today, a new lens. Oh the joy!
EDIT: There was a whole post here about photography, but I feel too embarrassed to keep it up.
To answer a question I've been getting: I use a Nikon D60 with 35mm/1.8 lens, and since yesterday,
my Christmas gift, a 50mm/1.4.
And: My pictures aren't perfect, but they don't have to be.

mmmm i'm not a technical expert but for me your photos are hugely succesful at communicating emotions so I think you ARE very good at it :)
I also have the 50 mm Nikkor and have (in my humble unprofessional mind) been really pleased with it...

While your photoshopped photos were very cool, I personally prefer the ones that use it minimally. It just seems more like YOUR point of view then. To me anyways. And you always have a point of view which is why your pictures are so interesting and fun. So thanks for sharing your photography.
