The other day, we went to pick strawberries at the strawberry field in Ylästö. My oh my,
those strawberries (btw, they are called earthberries in German, WHY?!) were the sweetest,
most delicious strawberries I've ever tasted in my whole life.
We picked almost 3 kg (and the kids probably ate another 2 kg while picking), and all of them
were gone by the end of the day.
Such are the days of summer.

I love strawberry picking. When they taste good they taste REALLY good!
oh my mouth is watering!
We went strawberry picking this year. It was a lot of fun and we came home with about 18 lbs. I can't say that they were the best tasting berries ever, nor that our field looked as pretty as the one you went to, but I made lots of strawberry jam from scratch. And the jam was really delicious.
Oh, and Sophia really enjoyed picking and eating berries for hours.
Picking berries is just fun.
Oh die sehen wirklich wie die leckersten Erdbeeren aus. Super-delicious :).
...I think they're called 'earthberries' in Germany because they're growing just straight at the earth :O)
we haven't been picking berries, but hapa bought this big box of fresh strawberries that we've been eating for a couple of days now. I love them! they are so so sweet and I use them for everything, just plain, in cereal, in salad... I love that they taste so good just as they are as I can't really bake or cook right now :D hapa's mom made some cake and jam though. mmmmm...
why is here only raining? raining ? can I come over? ;-D
Hi cutes ;)
Mmmm and I know some aardbei (dutch) addicts too who would love to help picking.
