The dress at the top left is my great-aunt's Mia's dress. She wore it, danced in it, when she was young, in the 50s/60s. It's a lovely, intricate knit dress, with crocheted straps. She gave it to me, on a sunny day in my grandfather Friedl's front-yard, when I was 16 years old. It's one of my most-prized processions. It's come with me, wherever I've lived. I've only worn it a couple of times, however. I'm thinking of changing that.
