Last night before going to bed, the girls put their boots outside on the doorstep, and when
they woke up this morning, Nikolaus had filled them with chocolates and some little gifts.
(Look, a pink pony!)

He also brought a thin layer of first snow.

And it's the Finnish Independence Day today.

Three good reasons to celebrate!

(And I believe I have two very good reasons to celebrate, every day.)

Huuuu so schöne Bilder!

Lovely pictures! Looks very cosy and sweet :)
Can I ask you where you found that hat with the little ears? My sister-in-law is having a baby soon, and this would make a really nice gift since they have sheep in their backyard :)

Hi Hanna, are you from Finland? The hat was a gift and was bought at Stockmann 3 or so months ago; the brand is Fredrikson. :)

Having sheep in the backyard sounds wonderful!

No I'm not from Finland, I'm from Belgium :)
I am coming to visit Helsinki in July (and you guide came in very handy for planning :) ). But I doubt that they'll still have the hat then :)
Thanks for your help, maybe I can find it on the internet somewhere.
