Day 14: Little Red Riding Hood (with A Magician's Hat).
Role-play fun in the woods with the family.
In our version of Rotkäppchen (why does English need four words to translate this?), the girl and the wolf are the best of friends. Grandma doesn't get eaten. And the mother is sneaky and eats the entire cake herself. (He's really rather tame, the wolf. He said to me, yesterday, that he must love me a lot, as is evidenced by the fact that he runs around the woods wearing a tunic from Mecca and a mask.) Thank You Mr. Wolf.
These awesome leather masks were made by this talented young man. Aren't they fabulous? His etsy shop is opening soon. :)

The fleeting spot of red - you captured magic!
The sequence of these photos creates wonderful fairy tale like atmosphere. Bravo, Isa!
Gorgeous! These photos are what fairytales are made of.
Hahaha! I love this. Way to have fun. What could be cooler than taking off into the forest with masks and funny outfits. Lovely!
J sure loves you! :) And those masks are GORGEOUS!
Die Masken sind wirklich klasse. Sehr schön gearbeitet.
Thank you, Isa (love your name)- I have to return the compliment; your photographs are true magic. I used to love words, the music of them (still do), but lately the power of capturing and telling stories through images has really dawned on me. Your story is a beautiful story of...love. Thank YOU.
Sehr schöne Idee und auch ich finde die Masken echt toll.
Wonderful, both pictures, masks and forest people!
What a lovely experience especially for F!
